This project was done in 2022. Designing signage and iconography for the Abrahamic Family House in Abu Dhabi was a spiritual and cultural journey. My role was to unify branding across three languages : Arabic, Hebrew, and English; while crafting an icon system that reflected the shared ancestry of the sons of Abraham and the three major religions connected to Abraham are
- Judaism
- Christianity
- Islam
The Abrahamic Family House reflects this unity: a mosque, a church, and a synagogue standing side by side, each distinct yet deeply connected.
My design approach mirrored this relationship:
- Multilingual Typography: Harmonized Arabic, Hebrew, and English to create signage that was legible, respectful, and visually cohesive.
- Integrated Icon Design: Developed a symbolic system that transcends language : rooted in shared values.
- Visual Unity: Every element was crafted to reflect the idea that they are family.
This project wasn’t just about guiding people through a building, it was about guiding them through a story that began thousands of years ago, and continues today in dialogue, dignity, and design.
